Membership
Membership is valid for a set period, 1st February to the following
31st January, unless otherwise stated at the time of enrolment.
BASIC membership is limited to online users and contains restrictions
on discounts and other membership benefits associated with being a FULL
member.
The Club reserves the right to decline membership to any individual,
notice of which, and the reasons for, will be given in writing by the
Executive Team.
Events
Events are capacity controlled to ensure all attendees experience maximum
value for money.
FULL members will always have priority booking over BASIC members and
guests.
Guest rates for events vary, but typically an event is charged at 10%
more than the FULL member rate.
In the unlikely event that an event is oversubscribed a draw will take
place on, or just after the booking deadline. Participants
will be drawn at random to select a place, first from FULL members and
then BASIC and guests after.
The Club operates a strict code of conduct for all events, which includes
that acceptance of all known park regulations applicable to the activities
involved, including the use of personal camera equipment on rides, which
is strictly prohibited at all times.
Some club events may be restricted by age and/or mobility issues. These
restrictions will be highlighted at the time of booking.
All event participants must be 16 years of age or older unless accompanied
by a parent/guardian aged 18 years of age or older. Acceptance of participants
under 16 is at the discretion of the Club Executive.
The Club & Pleasure Beach reserve the right to alter or cancel all
or part of an event if operational or other circumstances require. Certain
activities may be subject to weather/trading conditions. Where possible
a suitable alternative activity will be offered.
By booking to participate at a Club organised Event you agree to the
terms and conditions of participation and release the Club from any
responsibility, personal or financial that may be incurred as a result
of participation or misfortune. In all case the liabilities of the event
host will be in accordance with the standard policies for visitors to
the attraction.
The Club is unable to make refunds for non-attendance or accommodate
additional guests on the day of an event.
A refund for all, or part of your event payment may be available if
notice is given of non-attendance at least 48 hours prior to the start
of the event. If notice is given before the event booking deadline then
a full refund is available.
The Club reserves
the right to decline an Event application.
Shop
Items sold via the Club shop are subject to the standard terms and conditions
of use for the relevant item purchased.
The Club advises members to check with Pleasure Beach for any special
offers or discounts that might be applicable at the time of your proposed
visit to ensure you get the maximum value.
Once ordered, Wristbands and Season Passes are non-refundable or exchangeable.
Certain products will be date specific and can only be used on your
specified date.
By completing the online request form for the Big Blue Hotel you are
instructing the Club to check availability on your behalf and, if capacities
allow, make a reservation on your behalf. Your requested dates of stay
are NOT confirmed until you have received a confirmation email, with
reference number, from the Club. At this time your booking will remain
unconfirmed until full payment has been received by the Club. Please
refer to the terms and conditions attached to your booking confirmation
for more information.
All Shop items are offered subject to availability.
Forum
The Club forum is available to all, free of charge.
FULL members enjoy additional areas of the forum, such as member-only
section for event confirmations, Club business and member-only relevant
information.
Use of the forum is granted after agreeing to the terms and conditions.
Opinions expressed within the forum pages are those of the author and
not those of the Club or Pleasure Beach unless specifically stated as
such.
