What involvement does the
Pleasure Beach have?
The Pleasure Beach is 100% committed to the club. A representative from
the park will be present at club meetings and the club constitution
has been approved by the park.
Do I have to pay for membership?
Yes. Although a non-profit making organisation, the club does have financial
overheads that need to be paid for. The nominal membership fee is payable
on a yearly basis and entitles you to participate in club activities
and events, access to the message boards and club-only areas of the
website. Discounts and special promotions are also available for members
only.
By paying to join the club we believe
this shows your commitment to the organisation and allows the club to
maintain a solid membership of like-minded friends of Pleasure Beach
AND offer some amazing events & discounts that aren't available
anywhere else. It also allows the club to be safe in the knowledge that
we know our members are who they say they are.
Membership runs from the 1st of
February to the 31st January the following year.
How does membership work?
Membership is split in to two categories, FULL & BASIC. Full membership
payable on a yearly basis. The lead member will be the primary contact
and receive all club related media. Additional family/friend members
will be entitled to receive the same reduced event rates as primary
members plus additional member benefits as and when available. BASIC
membership has limited benefits, since this service is provided free
of charge.
Can I get involved?
Yes! CLUB PLEASURE BEACH is an organisation run by members for members.
We are always looking for contributions in any shape or form. Contact
the club to see how you can help out.

Yes! Non-members may attend club events by paying the guest rate. All
club events operate with a maximum capacity to ensure the events are
of a highest quality for those attending. Event places will only be
allocated to non-members if capacities allow.
I have been a member before,
do I have to re-join?
Yes, you do. From January 2005 the club has been re-launched. New systems
are now in place to ensure the club is run in an consistent manner that
is beneficial to all those involved. CLUB PLEASURE BEACH is an accountable
organisation.
Can I join and pay for
membership online?
Yes! We accept payments for membership using PayPal.
If I join, can I still
bring friends and family to events?
Yes! As a member you will be eligible for a discount on the event price
(the member rate). Any additional guests will have to pay the non-member
rate.
How will I take advantage
of promotions and discounts?
When you join you will be sent a username and password. This will give
you access to member only areas on the website. Here you will find all
you need to know about current offers, promotions and how to benefit.
Some offers will require your membership details, such as your membership
number and name. Some offers are available by showing your card at the
point of redemption. A waiting period may apply before certain discounts
can be used - see discount for details.
Is
photography permitted on rides and attractions at Pleasure Beach during
Club organised events?
The short answer is NO! For the 2007 season Pleasure Beach has introduced
a strict zero tolerance policy on the use of any photographic or video
equipment on rides and attractions within the park. This policy also
applies to all organised Club events unless otherwise agreed in writing
by a Director of Pleasure Beach. |
